As we approach the 2024 season, members of Glitch, both old and new, work together to continue building both the team and its robots.
As of October 11th, Team 8727 has hit a major milestone, completing the design, fabrication, integration, programming, and testing of the team's first ever swerve chassis, using motors, wheels, and software Glitch has never used before. After just under 6 weeks, our CAD Team designed it, our Fabrication Team built it, our Electrical Team wired it, our Programming Team programmed it, and the Drive Team drove it.
In other news, each sub-team has been hard at work adjusting to the new year and new members. While Electrical and Fabrication catalogue and organize their resources, Operations works behind the scenes on the financial, outreach, and management side of things, and every team and its leaders teaches the new arrivals for a wide array of subjets and certifications, ranging from soldering to Python.
As the year 2023 comes to a close, we hope to continue growing, learning, and progressing towards success, and wishing luck to all of our fellow robotics teams!
